An 85 has adjustable ancilliary device pulleys for tension.

Did you check PS fluid level and condition?

AC compressor is engaged or not?

Brake booster has good vacuum (to check vacuum pump near PS pump)?

Get/borrow a stethoscope device to isolate the sound. You might try a hard plastic vacuum line to your ear.
