All the evidence thus far points to the fact that the Bush administration was examining the financials of Solyndra, and as a result they did not decide to support Solyndra, after 20 January 2008 the Obama administration examined the financials of Solyndra through their own lens and decided to support Solyndra.
The financial circumstances of Solyndra where known to both administrations, one decided against giving them 528 million taxpayer dollars the other decided to give them 528 million taxpayer dollars. The investigation will hopefully illuminate the factors which contributed to these opposing conclusions. The investigating sub-committee has a representative number of Democrats and Republicans so the no viewpoint is unchallenged.
In the context of the dismal results of "Obamanomics" first trillion and the Dear Leaders newest demand for another half-trillion, the competence or lack thereof of the administrations decision making processes and outcomes are at issue.
Personally I'm delighted that this is happening now the way it is and it appears by all the polling data that a vast majority of the American electorate is also. I have said from the beginning "this Emperor has no clothes" and every day it is further revealed how naked he is.
