I agree with Tank. I had the same problem 2 months ago. There may come a time when the solenoid sticks on and will not disengage. At that point if the engine starts, it will spin the starter way faster than it was designed to go, and you run a risk of ruining a good core for the starter rebuilder, and that will add 100-150 bucks to the cost of the starter.

If you pass this problem to the seller, you will hear from them-

I just bit the bullet and had it done, no regrets. A good shop can swap one out in an hour-total cost to me was $285 for a Bosch reman.
