Yes, that might be possible.

I spent lots of time in Europe in the early 2000's. The diesels they had there were amazing and I'm sure they're much better now. They were so good that when it came time to fuel up a rent car, I had to make sure whether it took Benzin or Diesel.

As far as a Chevy, I don't care what it has for a power plant I'm not interested. With the government bail out, it'll be a cold day in you know where before I buy a GM or Chrysler product.
