I realize you don't want to discuss this any further, but I just finished reading your ETS+ link and there is something else I need to mention.

I forgot that MB has started using Automatic Downhill Brake Control on the ML. If you actually decide to start four wheeling your ML someday, you need to be warned of some of the dangers with this system.

By applying the brakes during a difficult descent, the system can cause your vehicle to slide and rollover, especially in slippery and off camber situations.

Also avoid using this feature on very long descents as it can overheat the brakes and cause them to fail.
