99.9% of the Scottish Distilleries are free to walk in. There are many small one, producing limited numbers per year and they sell almost everything abroad.
In town called Pitlochry (about 75 miles north of Edinburgh is located the smallest distillery in the world. Only 3 people work there but the export is mostly to the US. Average bottle is $120 + but they never sell anything younger than 10 years. The top one is 30 years old whiskey for $400 a pop
The Dewar's whiskey is produced in Pitlochry as well.
