IP,s are adjusted by drip timing and not by pool timing.
You need a reservoir and a drip pipe to do this job.
Conneced the reservoir to the fuel inlet on the IP, and the drip pipe to the first cylinder outlet, after you remove the spring and the plunger.
Set the engine to about 35 gegree before igniton TDC and fill the reservoir with diesel.
After the air bleeds out you will see a stream of diesel coming out of the drip pipe.
Now turn the engine to 24 degree.
You should see one drop every 1 to 3 seconds.
