"How do you become the lone source of the “truth”"

EASY!

\Ex"pert\, n. 1. An expert or experienced person; one instructed by experience; one who has skill, experience, or extensive knowledge in his calling or in any special branch of learning.

You have several people here with copious experience. DUTCH has been running around off-road in his G's for 18 years. His German friend owns two G's and uses them extensively in both the alps and the Sahara desert. Harold P. is obviously of expert caliber and is very clear in his opinion on this subject. I have been plying off-road trails for over a decade in a variety of vehicles, the last four years in G-Wagens.

I would think that all of this practical experience would count for something? If nothing else I think it puts the whole discussion in perspective. The ML camp relies on rehtorical evidence, the G camp on practical experience.:p

BTW, I am hardly the "lone source" on this subject. There have been half a dozen G contributors on this subject, between the two discussions. All have had hands on experience. You are still basing your argument on books. The prosecution rests
