The S at the end stands for secured service. The site uses 128bit security key. Banks use the same algorithm. However I would NOT open from the link provided, open a new window and type the address yourself. Go to their main side and follow the link to renewing your subscription.
Use PayPal so no credit/debit card numbers are available to the end user.
