The car is running on LPG, harder on the valves and seats.

Seats are worn, one valve seems to be leaking.
Cam has seen better times after +300K mls.

Of course it can be fixed, but new seats, cam, rockers, machining valves etc. will be more expensive than a good used head.

Local junkyard had one from a 260 that looked like new for $ 250 , including cam
300's with higher milage are $ 400 including cam.

I will pull the head tomorrow, the view from my scope was not very clear.
