An easy way to determine if the pump is out is to disconnect one of the trans cooler hoses and see if fluid shoots out of it. If it doesn't (and you tried all the gears) then it's the front pump.


One question Konstan, when you installed your torque converter, did you turn the torque converter in the trans to seat it properly? There a few "drives" that the torque converter has to connect to and the only way to properly seat it is to turn it several times (like at least 10x's) along with pressing it in as you turn.
