When Safelite put in my new windshield, they left the wiper blade loose so it scratched the windshield the first time I used the wipers. They sent a guy out with a cordless drill with a foam pad on it. He had some very fine dusty powder and used that with a little water. It took a long time but the scratch came out. So the moral of the story is don't ever use Safelite! The guy complained the whole time and said he wasn't getting paid to fix it. They also said their "complete" guarantee didn't include a new windshield...
