Quick Question regarding replacing NSS W124
I have been having to start my 1989 300TE by holding the key in start and pulling the gear lever down a bit. it use to be very infrequent but now it is pretty constant.
Ordered a new NSS to be installed later this week. the job looks easy enough, I am assuming all the difficulties with replacing it is from the lack of clearance.
anyways my question is: Do you have to do a ATF flush to swap a NSS? as in does ATF fluid gush out after you remove the NSS?
I remember reading this somewhere but not sure if the information was right i ordered a filter as it is on the to do list, but i may end up getting to that another day.
thanks
