My buddy was a mechanic at a Mercedes dealership wearing the same shirt: they don't repair parts they just replace parts 'till the problem is gone.

In the days when I was less mechanical savvy he would "help" me fixing my 300CD: it would cost a fortune. Replacing 'till the problem gone seems to be their motto.
