Pelican Parts has an exciting position open in our online catalog department. Note that this not a telecommuting position. The candidate will work in our Harbor City (Los Angeles area) headquarters.
Pelican Parts is a leading online retailer for Porsche and BMW/Mini parts and accessories. In 2012, we will enter the Mercedes-Benz market with an excellent catalog and technical resources. Additionally, we will be expanding into these other fine European brands: Volkwagen, Audi, Volvo, and Saab.
Responsibilities include but not limited to;
- Modify and create web pages
- Finding new vendors
- Researching new products
- Establishing new business relationships
- Adding new products to the online store
- Updating catalog prices
- Add new products to online store from existing vendors
- Photograph parts
Requirements:
- Minimum two years HTML experience
- Strong automotive parts knowledge
- Some automotive mechanical knowledge
- Must be a car enthusiast
- Experience in Photoshop or equivalent is a plus
