Same here. Had one car (300e 2.6) with a head problem. Sourced a complete engine for $ 460.00. Changed it myself. Head rebuild would have cost far more.
Interestingly I replaced the 2.6 engine with a 3.0litre. Left the 722.4 on. Car goes very well with 2.6 EZL and 2.6 ECU.
Complete engine for $460.00 included everything - water pump, fans, AC, inlet manifold and complete injection. (Engine 170,000K's - 110.000miles)
