I had a glass top in the past. I hated waiting for it to cool off, and the lack of quick control on the heat. I was constantly moving pots off of the heat to avoid burning.
Since I went back to gas, I have FULL control. I just wish my current stove had larger burners...that will come next spring, when I tear into the dining room and turn it into a kitchen.
