Took me awhile to get to it, but learned a couple things I think....

With the glow plug relay out of the loop, there is no change to the charging. So it appears the relay is fine, and now I need to remove the rebuilt Bosch alternator and have it bench tested?

So my next step is testing the alternator, or is there anything else to look at before?
