I'm of the opinion that ANY car will go a million miles if you throw enough money at it. Some will do it more easily than others. The most miles I've ever personally seen on a car was 376,000 on a Toyota Camry. Others I've seen past the 300k mark were a bunch of Crown Vics that had been police cars and then taxis, several Benzes including a gasser, a couple Subarus, a Honda Civic, a Porsche 912, and a Chevy Cavalier  .
