Yeah, it's like the irresistible force (reality) vs. the immovable object (idealism). Somethings gotta give.
I don't know about the "turning Republican". I'm sure they still have the liberal bent that got them to OWS in the first place, but it goes to show that everyone (and I mean everyone) has a breaking point. I wonder how many of the people they serve food to actually turns around and says "Thank You"? They are volunteers for crying out loud.
