The easy way
If you want lights to be on when the ignition is on and go off when you shut the vehicle off it should be fairly simple to wire in a couple of relays to power the headlights or fog lites. There will be a choice of several hot when ign is on circuits that you can tap into to get coil power for the relay. One of them should be hot when ign is on but not in start. This would be ideal. It should not be necessary to get fancy with this concept. there are a lot of greymarket vehicles here in Canada and they use some variation of this to pass inspection. Cheers Dan
