My 88 300TE sits too high at the front -- always has and its time to get it to sit level. The rear is fine, its just the front. I can almost fit my head through the wheel arch gap, its far too high.

I plan to cut maybe 1.5 coils off the springs to bring it down, but I am wondering if I also use the 8mm shims instead of the current 3point (18mm?) that are on the car right now. Will going down to the 1pt/8mm shims affect ride quality at all?
