LOL, OK... so you are in the fertile valley and shot a 200 lb buck....

they may not be 40-60 here in the famous Hill Country but they are a long way from 200 lbs.... dry scrub, no rain, OVER population.... causes the deer to be less than spectacular...

AND I said 40-80.. I bet the Parks and Wildlife people have some figures on this stuff...
