Finally was able to remove the large black tube blocking access to the brake light switch. I see what appears to be two 17mm bolts on either side of the mounting bracket holding the brake light switch. I found a repair manual that says only the INNER lock nut should be loosened; which lock nut is the inner? Also, the manual I found says the travel distance should be adjusted so that the brake light comes on at the proper time. I don't want to change the travel distance from what it is currently set at.
