Good luck. I think I would have tired this if I had thought of it. I soldered most connections, concentrating on the capacitors. It would work for a while, then fail. As a last resort I replaced the capacitors and its been perfect ever since. Its very possible that the act of replacing them simple insured a clean solder point and that the original caps were okay. I am just glad I have cruise!
