My drivers side window on my 1995 w124 wagon started giving me trouble. It will not open on its own. It makes a loud clicking noise and I have to squeeze the window between my hands to help it go down the first 1/4 inch or so, then it is fine. When I raise it it will make it almost back up to the top, but will stop a 1/4 inch and make the same clicking noise. Once again I have to assist it and pull it up.

Any thoughts out there before I try pulling this damn thing apart?
