That is not the crux of it at all. I read the article you posted. Still no evidence that Frank lied. That has nothing to do with spin or partisan politics or any of that.

The "fantasy" part that I mentioned has nothing to do with whether Frank lied. The article you posted said that the problems with Fannie and Freddie are responsible for the 2008 meltdown. That is just not true.

Speak for yourself. I am completely biased in favor of Frank in this matter, even though it appears that his ideology got in the way of his better judgment on this issue. That bias, though, would not prevent me from accepting evidence that he lied. I just wish someone would either provide that evidence or admit that it doesn't exist.
