Here in BC the dealer uses 5W40. I don't know where you live, but the only mercedes approved 0W30 is Castrol and sold only at Canadian tires stores. That oil it actually imported from Germany and says on the bottle also.

Mobil 0W40 can be used in any Mercedes operating in every climate and is a premium oil change if you ask for it at the dealer. It is the only oil used for all AMG Mercedes also.
