More or less here. Mostly less. Partially work, partially avoiding the usual political BS here of the campaign season.
Kids' basketball season is well underway. I've got 3 of them playing, the two oldest in two leagues each, and my wife and I are working on setting up a 12 & under league for kids with special needs from surrounding towns. Once the kids turn 13 they can play in the Special Olympic league but there's nothing for them until then. My little big guy just turned 9 yesterday and he's just itching to play some hoops like his older brother and sister and his little brother. Even at 8-9 years old, the typical kids his age are just moving at too fast a pace for him to enjoy it.
Business-wise, I'm cautiously optimistic for the coming year. I'm moving up the totem pole at work and am excited about the prospect of filling some positions due to retirement with some younger, enthusiastic talent (the pending retirees have been productive but stagnant). Filling two positions with sales reps who text and use email isn't insignificant in this day and age.
Now that my DD is slated for a nice-not-mint-'87-TD's-worth of orthodontic work, and son #1 has an appointment next week, the additional pay is already spent.
EDIT: Back to say that son #1 had his appointment and between the two of them the nice-not-mint-'87-TD's-worth is now a near-mint-mid-mileage-'87-TD's-worth of orthodontic work.
