Not any indignity, but I don't consider showing a receipt to be much of an indignity. And those people are not drones. They are obviously not as debonair as yourself, but they are people, believe it or not.

No, I wouldn't. I guess it's a line drawing problem. On one side of the line is being required to show a receipt so that the person at the door can do his or her job. On the other side is a strip search. Since showing a receipt causes you some sort of injury, I guess you prefer to prevent that person from doing his or her job. The unpleasantness of your approach seems like a net loss to you, but to each his own.
