A plug in resistor with one of these values would work but not in between, Cheers Dan

Part number, resistance and retardation:
000 540 21 81 = 0 ohm resistor (wire) = 12 degree retard
000 540 22 81 = 220 ohm resistor = 10 degree retard
000 540 23 81 = 470 ohm resistor = 8 degree retard
000 540 24 81 = 750 ohm resistor = 6 degree retard (standard US version M103/M102)
000 540 25 81 = 1.3K ohm resistor = 4 degree retard
000 540 26 81 = 2.4K ohm resistor = 2 degree retard
I want to install the Euro knob version on my 190E 2.6 (1989). Anybody tried doing this already?
Currently mine is running on the 1.3K ohm resistor (4-deg retard) with the large numbers reading "25 81" on the resistor housing.
By comparison the pic posted earlier was "24 81" meaning the standard 750 ohm resistor.
