Her defibrilator won't accidentally fire and give her the "mule kick".
To avoid any hassle or delays, I always inform TSA and other screening setups (at sporting events, etc). of my own AICD.
In airports, it's usually a walkaround and a patdown and shoe inspection right in the screening area.
I have no problem with prefilght flight screening. Dem's da rules. Don't like them? Charter your own plane, take the farkin train or drive.
