I disagree. If they completely abolished security checks for commercial aviation and didn't check for guns/knives/bombs/whatever, I would be more willing to fly. Yes you might get a suicide bomber here and there, but from recent cases it looks like the enemy is running out of capable people willing to blow themselves up on a plane. As for hijacking attempts, those wouldn't go so well with a number of the passengers armed.
