I did extensive Western European travel from early 2000 through 2003. Additionally I lived in Germany for a few years many years ago.

Knowing the German people as I do, they are indeed generally Socialist. That's why they love B.O. so much. As in all societies, one editorial article does not represent the thoughts of everyone in a particular country. I hope that everyone here realizes that. There are different political spectrums in all countries.

I think that it's quite easy to see which side of the political table the author of the article referenced in the OP is sitting.
