I did not know they still made non turbo's in 1985...

But the difference is pretty large... when they added the turbo they decreased the compression ratio slightly and put oil squirters in the lower end to shoot cooling oil at the bottoms of the pistons...

The difference is between about 85 hp and 120 with turbo.. a lot of improvement with the turbo...except for access room to work in the passenger side of the engine compartment..
