Private companies generate the money that makes it's way into the government accounts through taxes. It's the only way the government can have funds.
The big issue to me is: we give tax breaks to companies to help them create jobs, they pocket the money and give themselves raises.

A recent survey by the NYT indicated that "small businesses" indicated that DEMAND, not tax breaks, drives hiring.

The gov't would be better off to create demand by buying fromn small businesses, especially if they hired more people to complete their contracts.
