A UK based acquaintance has a 1996, 124 220TE with the dual zone a/c system.
The a/c stopped funneling air to the windscreen, and being winter, it misted up straight away. The garage refilled the refrigerant, but couldn't find anything else wrong, although they didn't profess any special knowledge of those a/c systems.
Now there is still no air flow to the windscreen and the a/c switches don't illuminate either.
Any idea what the issue is as the a/c garage is stuck?
A/c was only a standard fit on the last production year 124 cars in the UK - 1996 - so it isn't a system often seen in garages there.
