Have you considered a thinner cold weather blend? 5W30? My dealer uses that weight in mine.
I'm thinking of switching to this product...it has boosted zinc levels for extra protection.

AMSOIL - SAE 10W-40 Synthetic Motor Oil (AMO)

plus, I'm looking at various prelube systems that will bring oil pressure up to normal BEFORE turning the key in the ignition. I'm thinking that is the best and safest way to start any engine.
