roasted brussel sprouts with walnuts and bacon
puree of sweet potatoes with maple syrup and caramelized sweet onions
herb salad with pears and parmigiano reggiano
bourbon pecan pie with spiked whipped goat cream

Last night was women's work, They made a hundred tamales yesterday after the goat was stewed down the day before. Today it was my turn. I aged and cooked three full 8 bone rib roasts. There's a half one left.

Everyone's gone but the kids, the fire feels good. If I can just get my wife to turn off the damned carols, Christmas is a FULL YEAR away. Can I get a hallelujah chorus on that???
