A few more "nevers:"

This is a BIG never: Never compress suspension springs with anything other than the proper spring compressor tool.

Never start the car with the instrument cluster removed..."I hear that" the line to the oil pressure gauge can make an awful mess!

Never re-assemble anything without first cleaning and lubricating (in a few cases, locktite may be an appropriate substitute for lubricant...e.g. brake caliper bolts, etc.)

Never remove the cam without first removing the spacer between the timing sprocket and the first cam tower....again "I hear that" the spacer can drop down into the timing chain compartment!

Never have a shop install wheel lug bolts, unless you confirm that you can actually remove them by hand with a lug wrench before you leave the shop (in my experience, shop-installed lug bolts will invariably be WAY, WAY TOO TIGHT!!!)

Happy Holidays,

Mark
