The truth is that RP really does support Isreal. He supports giving them their sovereignty by their not being a puppet of US foreign policy. He also does not support the US policy of supporting dictators that become enemies of Israel. He was one of the very few who supported Israel's decision in 1981 to bomb Iraq's nuclear facilities.
