I've owned this 1987 300SDL for just over a year now, put on about 45,000 very trouble-free miles. This car has been taken good care of since new, and has all the records to show it. It's a very comfortable ride, and looks almost immaculate.

Here's the problem I'm having with it now. It's developed an engine oil leak that I can't seem to locate the source of. It's leaking down the driver's side towards the front of the engine. I've wiped down the oil cooler hoses and they stay dry, wiped the underside of the IP, and it's dry. Everything under the PS pump is wet and covered, especially the AC compressor. Any ideas what's under there that'd leak engine oil? I'll probably start disassembling next weekend, but thought I'd ask you folks if you had any ideas of where to start. I've never needed to add oil between changes (5K on Mobil 1 TDT 5w40), but have added two quarts in the last week, and it's puddling pretty good. Thanks!
