I sucked all the fluid out of the pump with a turkey baster, disconnected the lines then pulled the centering pin plug and not much fluid came out. I'm surprised your steering box supplier didn't included or mention the centering pin, its kind of critical. My box was leaking then I tried a fluid that was suppose to STOP leaks and it leaked worse I replaced the oil filter to block gasket while the steering box was out as it was weeping just a tad.
