Yes. It's your car and you can put whatever you want into it. You will get plenty of opinions on aftermarket products and how they are 'superior' according to the seller. I guess it comes down to how lucky you feel.
MB published a list of factory recommended fluids and filters back in 2007. To my knowledge it is still the most current recommendation. Most are not specific to W210 but to model year ranges such as oil, etc. In case you or someone else is interested it's here -
