I would find someone with a paint meter. If they didn't go down to bare metal than they didn't do the job you described. If the thickness is double the original paint, you might have a leg to stand on. At this point you can't really believe they did any of the work.
I cannot believe they didn't suggest blending the panels. There's just no way to perfectly match anything but black.
