kind of depends on how exactly the valve failed (if it has failed, I wouldn't replace it without a diagnosis) I'm guessing the more likely scenario failure would be air-injection off mode since the ECM only calls for secondary air injection mode maybe 2-3% of the run time to manage O2 temperature.
