That's somewhat a matter of degree and interpretation, particularly what is being treated.

Did Palmer "heal" his first patient's deafness? Probably not. Asthma? no.

Do chiropractic adjustments "heal" a sprained or strained muscle? Well, it may assist in the natural processes of the body as a palliative adjunct, but the "healing" is being done by you.

Despite the length of time chiropractic manipulation has been in practice, there are few agreements in studies and surveys about efficacy, long term results and cost effectiveness.
