A late M117 Bosch starter (such as for a 5.6 liter engine) is interchangeable with an M119 starter, and vice versa.

You can get a rebuilt OE starter from a place like Autoha us AZ dot-com for around $170 after core charge, which isn't a bad deal. Comes with a new solenoid too !!
