I have one, a Teeter Hang Ups. I shopped them at length and found the Teeter versions to be the most stable and well built.
I use mine 2-4 times a week for about 5 minutes. I don't have sciatica but have nearly every thing else wrong as far as a bad back gets. Disk and nerve compression, torn disks, tingling feet etc. My neurologist recommended the back machine. It's been a godsend. My wife suffers sometimes from what I'd say is sciatica though she hasn't been diagnosed. She says the inversion table helps a lot. Makes sense as sciatica is a nerve compression issue also. The one I got is the lowest priced model, they cost the same everywhere so Amazon is probably your best bet for cheap or free delivery. Sometimes they show up on CL, but do some homework, there's a huge difference in the way they're built and designed.
