Why bother to convert vehicles to CNG, and spend the trillions it would take to develop the infrastructure, when you could build the plants to convert NG into liquid fuel, synthetic diesel and gas, that can be distributed by the exisitng infrastructure and be burned in any vehicle already on the road?
